We will be working outside, in a field, at a farm so here are some tips to make it fun….

•Be prepared to sweat and get a little dirty.
•You may want to bring a change of shoes.
•Bring gloves if you are the sensitive hands type.
•Bring water to stay hydrated.
•Use sun block/protection!
•Wear a hat to keep the sun off your head and neck.
•Make sure you use the bathroom before you join us. There is no bathroom onsite. There are usually bathrooms within a short drive in an emergency!
•We will have water that we are happy to share, but you should bring your own refillable water bottle to put our water in.
•Come for the whole time or just a little while.
•All ages are welcome at our gleanings from 6 to 106.
•Gleaning is a great activity to bring your kids to teach them where there food comes from.
•Bring a few bags so you can take home some of the fresh healthy veggies you helped pick! They are free to you and our way of saying thank you for helping us feed Baltimore.
